Main Responsibilities

As a result of the ongoing growth in our Clients business, they are looking for Mechanical Design Engineers to join their Bristol team. You will have experience of designing performance driven mechanical equipment (e.g. high integrity, high temperature, low vibration, safety-critical, rotating machinery etc.)

Skills and Experience Required

• Industry experience in one or more of the following sectors: aerospace, gas turbine, steam turbine, nuclear or offshore industry.
  
• Proficient in designing using CAD (ideally Unigraphics NX5 or Catia V5)
• Experience of undertaking stress, thermal or flow calculations or experience of liaising at a detailed level with analysts performing these calculations
• Ability to be flexible and initiative to take on novel challenges
• Project management skills
  
• Good communication and negotation skills
• Degree or equivilent in an engineering discipline.
