Safety, Environmental and Risk Management consultancy for the Nuclear industry are core services for our client. They have a strong and successful track record in this area and demand is high for their expertise, therefore they are seeking an experienced safety engineer.
Location Manchester Salary Competitive salary Main responsibilities - Manage and deliver consultancy services on budget, to programme and to client expectations
- Generate and develop business opportunities
- Line manager responsibility for the development of staff
- Direct input into the future growth of the company as part of the senior management team.
Skills and Experience required
- Good Engineering / Science Degree and preferably a Chartered Engineer
- Significant experience of the nuclear industry, its safety processes, standards and legislation. In particular, developing, producing and delivering safety cases, hazard analysis and developing ALARP arguments
- Consultancy experience and knowledge of key clients such as AWE, Sellafield Ltd, British Energy and UKAEA
- Proven client management, people management and business development experience Flexible, confident, professional and ready to tackle challenging opportunities.
